CAG-3

This festival is a collaborative effort to bring together scholars from different disciplines so they can move from shared research challenges to hands-on training and potential research solutions.

It will include workshops on fieldwork, grounded theory methodology, AI and social science research, document analysis, and others, while research presented at the festival will illustrate methodological approaches to topics such as colonial histories, migration, gender, water crises, and emerging social science research methods in India. Each day will include mini-presentations on research skills, including developing a research focus, writing for peer-reviewed journals, research ethics, and academic survival skills for early career researchers.

The festival comprises plenary framing sessions, structured methods training, and opportunities for mentoring and feedback.

The festival will culminate in participant research pitches focused on current and emerging research directions in the social sciences and humanities.

The event is open to all. Interested participants are requested to send a confirmation request to adinchargeics@gmail.com
