Professor Manohar Lal Sondhi is the Chairman, Indian Council of Social Science Research. He is a distinguished scholar of International Relations at Jawaharlal Nehru University. During his career he has served in the Indian Foreign Service and has been a Member of Parliament. His scholarly interests cover a range of topics including peace and conflict, strategic analysis and parliamentary studies. He has over a dozen books to his credit and has published numerous articles in professional journals.
Dr. K.G. Tyagi is working as Director in the Indian Council of Social Science Research. His major areas of interest are information systems and services in Social Sciences. Widely travelled on academic assignments in India and abroad, Dr. Tyagi is currently the President of International Committee of Social Sciences Information and Documentation, Buenos Aires and the Chairman of Asia-Pacific Information Network in Social Sciences, Bangkok. Dr. Tyagi has created many information locating tools. He has contributed many books and articles.
