Prof. Rabi Narayan Kar is currently serving as Professor-Principal of SLC since 2015. Prof. Kar is also a Senior Fellow of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He has seven books, several book chapters and research papers to his credit in journals and publications of repute including Edward Elgar, Taylor & Francis, Sage, Springer, Macmillan Advance Research Series and Bloomsbury. Prof. Kar has completed four projects including one international collaborative research project under CIMO, Finland. Prof. Kar was also a Visiting Professor from 2016 to 2018 with Turku University of Applied Sciences, Finland. Besides, Prof. Kar has also been contributing to ICSI, Delhi University, Pondicherry University, IGNOU and Central University of Jharkhand in several capacities. Presently, he is also the Visitor’s Nominee to Central University of Odisha and UGC nominee to Executive Council, Central University of Rajasthan.
Prof. Kar has also academic collaboration with CIBER, Georgia Tech, Atlanta, (USA), ICN Business School (France), and the CEREFIGE of the Universite de Lorraine (France), Restumeikan APU, (Japan) and TUAS, XAMK, Finland. His research interests are Corporate Strategy and M&A, Sustainable Development, Innovation in Enterprises, Indian and Cross Cultural Management and Educational Administration. Under Prof. Kar’s able Leadership SLC, become a successful turnaround story, as SLC has been accredited with A++ Grade in 2023 in the II Cycle from B+ Grade in I cycle in 2017.
