Expectations from the candidate:
The Senior Consultant (Research) will be responsible for monitoring various research programs/fellowship/publications of ICSSR and to see important research related issues. The applicant may have been retired as Director/Deputy Director from Government organisation/autonomous body/ academic institute of repute or from an administrative position of a research institute and an experience of 15 to 20 years in teaching/guiding research/research administration.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. PG in any social science discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from recognised university.
2. Record of proven contribution to the field of academics and research for at least 15 to 20 years.
3. Administrative experience of academic institutions/research organisation of repute.
4. Experience of evaluation and supervision of research.
5. Experience and expertise in National and International collaboration work.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
The senior consultant would help in implementing and carrying forward various and research initiatives of the ICSSR. He will also provide valuable inputs for researches, allied areas of ICSSR and execute other works assigned by the competent authority, ICSSR.
