PUBLICATION GRANT/SUBSIDY FOR PUBLICATION OF DOCTORAL THESIS/ RESEARCH REPORT/ PAPERS PRESENTED IN SEMINARS/CONFERENCES etc.
1.1 The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) provides publication grants/financial subsidy to Indian nationals for publication of manuscripts of the research work done in any field of social sciences, subject to the condition of merit of the work.
1.2 Doctoral Thesis: The scholars who have been awarded Ph.D. during the last three years may apply under this scheme.
1.3 Reports of Research Projects/Fellowships and Papers Presented in Seminars/Symposia/Workshops:
The ICSSR may give a grant for publication of such a manuscript, whether its production was financed by the ICSSR or otherwise, if the work is of high quality and needs to be subsidised. More [+]

1.1 The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) provides Grants-in-Aid for supporting professional associations/ organisations of social scientists for their development.
1.2 Professional associations/ organisations working on specific activities relating to the professional development of SC/ ST or research activities related to them would be given support under the SC/ ST category for this scheme. More [+]
Grant-In-Aid for Professional Associations/ Organisations of Social Scientists including Universities, Colleges and Research Institutes for Publication/ Running of their Research Journal(s)
1.1 The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) provides Grants-in-Aid to professional associations/ organisations of social scientists including universities, colleges and research institutes for publication/ running of their research journal(s).
1.2 The objective of the grant is to help the professional organisations of social scientists, including universities, colleges and research institutes to improve quality of their journal(s) and also to ensure regularity of their publication.
1.3 The Association/ Organisation applying under the SC/ST category must note that the journals primarily devoted to research on SC/ST related issues shall only be considered for the publication grant. More [+]
