CAG-ICSSR Colloquium on State of the Finances and Solid Waste Management in Urban Local Bodies of Uttarakhand

The colloquium will bring together eminent policymakers, academicians, auditors, researchers, and students for insightful deliberations on Fiscal Federalism & Governance, State Finances of Uttarakhand, and Solid Waste Management in Urban Local Bodies of Uttarakhand.

The colloquium will engage distinguished academicians and experts led by Prof. Surekha Dangwal, Vice Chancellor, Doon University, Prof. Dhananjay Singh, Member Secretary, ICSSR, Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Accountant General (Audit), Prof. Rajendra P Mamgain, Doon University, Lt. Dr. Smita Tripathi, Doon University, Shri Pavan Kumar Reddy, Sr. Dy. Accountant General, Shri Mukesh Kumar, Deputy Accountant General and Shri Nishant, Deputy Accountant General.

Based on the audit findings, the colloquium will address issues such as strengthening Uttarakhand’s economy, enhancing it’s public infrastructure, and promoting sustainable development while preserving its unique ecological heritage, the need for robust fiscal governance and accountable public institutions has never been more significant.

The colloquium seeks to foster evidence-based dialogue, strengthen cooperative federalism, and promote innovative policy solutions for transparent governance, prudent fiscal management, and sustainable urban development, contributing to the vision of ViksitBharat @2047.
