The Project Proposal

It is essential to make your project clear to individuals outside your own field and to explain its broader implications. The elements requested below should be incorporated into the text :

• A detailed description of the research proposal and its importance beyond the interests of the specific field of study.
• Overview of literature.
• Conceptual framework, i.e. it should indicate concepts to be used and demonstrate their relevance to the study.
• The basic ideas and hypotheses or research questions.
• Coverage.
• The methodology to be used (please be specific)...
• The relevance of the project to contemporary policy issues
• Cost Estimation (see annexure III)
