NASSDOC - E-resources for ICSSR Research Institutes and Regional Centres

It is capacity building programme initiated by ICSSR for its research institutes, Regional centre to strengthen their e-resource collection. Its objectives are:
- To strengthen the infrastructure of the research institutes for advancing knowledge in social sciences.
- To provide free access to full text high quality and scholarly e-journals and other research material which are required by ICSSR fraternity.
- To provide access to e-resources at a substantially reduced cost.
- To ensure provision of access to online full text database is a regular programme.
- To sustain the programme for a long period.
- To promote use of e-resources in ICSSR research institutes, regional centres and NASSDOC.
Following e-resources are being subscribed for them on demand basis.
- Econlit with full text (EBSCO): Pertaining to economics
- Indiastat (Datanet India): Socio economic numerical data on India
- JSTOR (ITHAKA) : Full text database scholarly journals database
- Prowess IQ (Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy, CMIE): Financial performance of large and medium Indian firms
