Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and Philippines Social Science Council (PSSC) organized jointly its First Webinar under bilateral programme on "Narratives of COVID-19 From the Social Science Communities in India and the Philippines: Examining the COVID 19 Responses" today, 15th October 2020 at 11:30 AM.
Moderator: Dr. Mario J Aguja, President, Philippines Sociological Society welcomed the Speakers and Reactors and also the audience who joined live through Facebook
Welcome Address: Dr. Lourdes M Portus, Executive Director, PSSC and Prof. V K Malhotra, Member Secretary, ICSSR
Presenter: From Philippines, Dr. Michael L Tan, Professor Emeritus and former Chancellor, University of Philippines made a presentation which was summarized and reacted upon by Dr. Gregorio del Pilar, President, National Research Council of Philippines.
From India, Dr. Sachin Chaturvedi, Director-General, RIS, New Delhi made a presentation, which was summarized and reacted upon by Prof. Bhushan Patwardhan, Chairman, ICSSR and Vice-Chairman, UGC.
The floor was opened for question answers received from the audience on Facebook Chat Box. The Webinar concluded with synthetisation from the moderator and concluding remarks from the Heads of both the organizations.
