Call for Applications for ICSSR’s Senior Fellowships for the Financial Year 2023-24

ICSSR invites applications from Indian scholars under its Senior Fellowships Schemes for the Financial year 2023-24.

The research proposal should be in social science discipline.  However, interdisciplinary research proposals with social science dimension shall also be considered for evaluation.  

Applicants are required to read the eligibility conditions carefully and apply in accordance with the ICSSR Fellowship Guidelines with the required attachments.  The Guidelines are available on ICSSR website www.icssr.org.

The candidates shall submit an online application. The proposal must be submitted in the given format only. 

Applicants are requested to take a print out of the application submitted online and send it to ICSSR immediately after its online submission duly forwarded by the Competent Authorities of the affiliating institution, along with all the attachments, as mentioned therein so as to reach ICSSR within 10 days after its online submission.   The applications should be sent to ‘The Deputy Director, RFS Division, Indian Council of Social Science Research, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi – 110 067.’  

The last date for online submission of application is 31.10.2023 and the last date for receipt of hard copy of application in ICSSR is 10-11-2023. Applicants are advised to apply well before the last date in order to avoid last minute glitches.  The applications can be filled either in English or Hindi.
