Corrigendum: ICSSR Invites Applications from Social Science Research institutes under its ‘ICSSR Recognised Institutions scheme

With reference to the advertisement issued by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, inviting applications under ‘ICSSR Recognised Institutions Scheme’ earlier on 31.10.2023, it is clarified that para-3 of the eligibility criteria, as mentioned in the guidelines, may be read as ‘it should have been registered under the Societies Registration Act or as a Public Trust or created with the assistance of a department or Ministry of the State or Central Government’ in place of ‘it should have been registered under the Societies Registration Act 1960, or as a Public Trust, or created with the assistance of a department or Ministry of the State or Central Government’. All eligible applicants may submit their application latest by 15th of December 2023. Those who have already submitted their applications against the previous advertisement, need not to apply afresh.
