The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) is organizing the First Indo-Swiss SSH Research Festival in association with Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), Switzerland featuring four short research methods workshops relevant for the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). The research festival will feature Workshops that will comprise on the development of skills, research designs, methods, interpretive structures, meaning making, and project management. An important and underestimated element of specialised workshops is the networking component, which brings Doctoral, Post-doctoral, and advanced researchers together to debate, transfer skills, and exchange ideas. Such workshops also provide excellent opportunities to explore disciplinary, interdisciplinary, regional, and global perspectives. The condensed nature of focused methods workshops allows participants to translate published texts on research methods into research-relevant applications. This workshop will enable participants to develop skills in understanding the methodological devices to appreciate Indian social realities in terms of approaching the field, especially in the context of unheard voices.
