The colloquium will engage distinguished academicians and experts led by Dr. Sami Ullah Bhatt , University of Kashmir, Prof. Shallu Sehgal , University of Kashmir, Prof. Nilofer Khan , Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir, Prof. Dhananjay Singh , Member Secretary, ICSSR, Shri JPN Singh , IAAS, Principal Accountant General and Shri Jagbir Singh , Sr. Deputy Accountant General.

As Jammu & Kashmir continues to hold a distinctive place in India’s socio-economic and ecological landscape, sound public finances and sustainable management of its natural resources are critical to strengthening development outcomes and ensuring long term resilience. The Colloquium will provide a valuable platform to examine fiscal priorities, resource management, institutional challenges and policy responses, while encouraging evidence-based discussions grounded in audit insights and academic research.

The colloquium seeks to create a vibrant platform for meaningful engagement between academia and public institutions, encouraging evidence-based research and informed policy dialogue on critical governance challenges. By fostering interdisciplinary perspectives and collaborative discussions, the initiative aims to contribute towards transparent, accountable and citizen-centric governance.
